Take the next right after passing Hempton Roast Coffee on Engle Rd, Fort Wayne 46804 and meet in the meadow at 5211 Engle Rd.

Join us at our forested wetland preserve to learn why and how to identify invasive species like Callery Pear, Bush Honeysuckle, and Autumn Olive, then hike with us to cut and treat as many of these as we can! Removing invasive species is crucial to preserving biodiversity, and giving our native plant communities a chance to not only survive but thrive! We will also work on centralizing all our brush piles into one big bonfire pile we'll plan to burn in January.

Please dress for the weather and be prepared to get dirty! We will provide instruction, hand tools and gloves.
