The Little River Wetlands Project announces its annual Monarch Festival to be held on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Eagle Marsh Nature Preserve barn, located at 6801 Engle Road, Fort Wayne.

This family-friendly event is open to the public. Adults are $3. Children and LRWP members are free.

Celebrate the incredible lifecycle and transformation of monarch butterflies through a variety of engaging programs and activities:

• Live Monarch Displays: Observe monarchs at different stages of their life cycle

• Butterfly Tagging: Participate in tagging monarch butterflies before their release

• Educational Presentations: Enjoy learning stations and hands-on activities for all ages
