Join us at Little River Landing, a closed preserve at the confluence of the Little River and Wabash River, which we co-own with ACRES, to learn to identify and remove invasive species! We'll teach you how to ID honeysuckle, privet, buckthorn, and other invasive woody species, then cut and treat as many as we can! Removing invasive species is crucial to creating healthy native habitats, and this time of year is perfect for targeting them, as much of the native vegetation has retreated underground for the winter!

Please wear long sleeves and bring a water bottle, and we will provide tools, gloves, and daubers. Limited parking will be available next to the project site at 2925 W Park Dr, Huntington, IN 46750, and overflow parking will be located a short paved hike away at the Historic Forks of the Wabash museum, 3011 W Park Dr, Huntington, IN 46750.
