Eagle Marsh Trails

Preserve hours:

Dawn to dusk (see Events/Programs page for scheduled night hikes with local nature experts).

Every Tuesday morning 9-11 a.m., join the Little River Ramblers on a hike to identify flora and fauna present. Leave from the Eagle Marsh barn on Engle Rd, 1/2 mile east of W. Jefferson Blvd. in Fort Wayne April-October and from the Boy Scout office parking lot at the end of Olde Canal Place Rd. (opposite Lutheran Hospital entrance on W. Jefferson) November-March. All are welcome!

Trail Regulations:

Enjoy Eagle Marsh, but please let it stay wild!

To protect our wildlife, do not bring in or remove animals or plants of any kind. Imported species can carry diseases or cause other problems. Please take your trash out with you.

Pets, hunting, fishing, biking, motorized vehicles, horseback riding, alcohol, drugs, weapons, camping, campfires, and all collecting.

Remain on marked trails. The wildlife of Eagle Marsh need our habitats to survive--please do not trample them. Stay away from indicated hazards and use caution near ditches or when stewardship activities are underway. Contact Little River Wetlands Project at 260-478-2515 if you wish to bring children’s groups to the preserve, conduct studies, or if you see any problems. Thanks!
