Retired senior financial manager with extensive international business experience and an M.B.A. in international finance. Marcia chairs the Finance Committee and serves on the Executive Committee.

Judy Nelsen, Secretary
Retired professor and Indiana Master Naturalist. Judy chairs the Development Committee and serves on the Executive and Finance Committees.

Ronnie Greenberg
Retired CEO of the Fort Wayne Women’s Bureau and an Indiana Master Naturalist. Ronnie chairs the Nature Education Committee.

Thom Maher,
Vice President, Human Resources for BRC Rubber & Plastics in Churubusco and Vice President, Northeast Indiana Chapter #182 of Pheasants Forever. At LRWP, Thom chairs the Stewardship Committee and serves on the Land Conservation Committee.

Tom Russell

Kathie Sessions
Retired chemistry teacher, Canterbury High School, Fort Wayne. Kathie serves on the Development Committee.

Credit Manager at OmniSource Corporation and a CPA. Marlene serves on the Executive and Finance Committee.

Karen Surguine
A realtor with Coldwell Banker Roth Wehrly Graber and an Indiana Master Naturalist, Karen serves on the Development Committee.

Mary Tonne
Controller-Finance at General Motors, Fort Wayne Assembly Plant and a 2013 graduate of Leadership Fort Wayne, serves on the Finance Committee.

Dennis White
Retired Property Manager, Salamonie Reservoir. Dennis chairs the Land Conservation Committee and serves on the Land Use and Research Committee.

Larry ("Doc") Wiedman
Professor of Biology and Director of Environmental Science at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne. Doc chairs the Land Use and Research Committee and serves on the Executive Committee.

Renee Wright
Owner, Renee Wright Communications and Outdoors Editor, Northern Indiana Lakes Magazine. At LRWP Renee assists with marketing and communications.

Dan Zweig
Senior Vice President-Investments, Zweig Tribbett Financial Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. Dan assists with marketing and development.

 

Staff:

Amy Silva, Executive Director
B.S. in Park and Recreation Administration; former Superintendent, Allen County Parks and Recreation Department; a founding board member of the NIPSCO Environmental Challenge Fund; passion for wetlands, nature preserves and restoration projects.

Betsy Yankowiak, Director of Preserves and Programs
IPFW graduate in Environmental Geology, experienced naturalist, former co-property manager of the Fort Wayne Chapter of the Izaak Walton League, and committed to local environmental issues.

Liz Hincks, Wetland Education Coordinator
Liz has B.S. and M.S. degrees from Indiana University and more than 25 years of experience as a teacher in elementary education. Among her many professional accomplishments, Liz has developed outdoor education curricula and served on the Fox Island County Park Alliance board of directors.

Dani Bradtmiller, Director of Preserves and Programs Assistant
Dani has a B.S. in environmental policy and a minor in geology. She helps with preserve and program support, including volunteer coordination.

Ashlee Deitche, Accountant (Half-time)
An IPFW student majoring in accounting, Ashlee is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. She has previously worked for more than two years as a teller at IAB.

Sara Manning, Administrative Support Specialist (Half-time)
Sara has previous administrative experience with the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Partners 1st Federal Credit Union.

Don Cunningham, Eagle Marsh Property Steward
IPFW graduate in Biology, Indiana Master Naturalist, previously on maintenance staff at Fox Island County Park. Don enjoys hiking, backpacking, and running.
