Trail Regulations
Enjoy Eagle Marsh but please let it stay wild!

Hours: Dawn to dusk.

Everything is protected: Please do not bring in or remove
anything natural from the preserve.  Pets, hunting, fishing,
biking, horseback riding, motorized vehicles, use of
alcohol, and campfires are prohibited. Leave nothing but
footprints—please take trash out with you.

Remain on the marked trail:  Use caution if mowing,
spraying, or seed planting are underway.

Contact Little River Wetlands Project: (260-478-2515 or

conduct studies at this site, or if you observe any
problems.

Directions to Eagle Marsh:
From the I-69 and U.S. 24 interchange (exit 102) go East
(toward Fort Wayne).  Get into the right lane and, in about
0.4 mile, turn right at the first traffic light onto the Olde
Canal Place drive and follow about 0.8 mile to the Boy
Scout Office parking lot.  Turn left and park in the south lot.
From the parking lot walk across a small grass median
and onto a gravel lane that leads downhill and look for trail
markers.
Please feel free to walk and enjoy a newly
established
trail on the west end of Eagle
Marsh.  Click on the link above for detailed
directions and a map.  Soon there will be a
trailhead sign with a sign-in box.  For now, look
for
temporary trail signs and use those in
conjunction with the map to navigate the trail.
Please do not stray from the established trail
and do not approach ditches, bridges or any
other man-made devices associated with the
areas former use as agricultural land.
